Hey guys, how are you doing?
This month I wanted to focus on wedding day suppliers. These guys and girls work tirelessly every week with couples to ensure that your wedding day goes smoothly. This week I wanted to focus on decor, arguably one of the biggest elements to your wedding.
I caught up with Sarita Babbar of Lux Occasions last week, who will provide an insight into how couples can approach the decor for their wedding.
Each couple has specific and individual needs when it comes to their wedding decor and how they visualise the day itself. However the first step when a couple gets in touch with Sarita is to establish the event date, so they can ensure that they are available for your date. The second step is to have a consultation to understand their wants and needs. From this they will create a design board to reflect your style and theme and discuss how we can make it work for you.
They have worked with many brides and have found that the most beautiful weddings are the ones that are most personal to the couple. They work with each client by spending time with them to find out more about their dream. Talking to them about the things they like and want to incorporate into their big day, what’s important to them and what they want to experience and use this information to create the most beautiful designs for them.
Sarita gets her inspiration from a variety of places – colours combinations that are naturally available in our daily lives – architecture from existing structures including buildings and bridges, seasonal items, Pantone colours, and last but not least you the client themselves. You are our biggest inspiration as it is your day, your ideas and thoughts and dreams. Sarita and her team then love to translate in a story with flowers using the knowledge and expertise that we have gained over the years.
Sarita and her team provide floral event decor services for venues, brides and planners. They offer decor in both fresh and silk florals but find fresh flowers are definitely more textured and more luxurious and fragrant and therefore would recommend this to their clients. Their aim is to provide insta worthy, picture perfect events to their clients.
Sarita has always been creative and loved flowers. She started her career as a floral designer by attending flower school and achieving my qualifications. Her first wedding was actually her sister’s wedding where she designed and created large floral centrepieces for the ceremony and a 500 guest Reception. It was the most satisfying and rewarding experience and when guests still talk about the decor even now (4 years on!!). Since then I have continued to further develop my floristry skills to do bigger and better things including arches and elephants.
For a service that is creative, professional and reliable get in touch with Sarita via Contact Form to find out more about how they can help you create your dream celebration through floral design. You can also follow them on Instagram / Pinterest where you can see more of our work for ideas, inspiration and tips.
As always, if you would like to know more about the amazing suppliers that I work with then please send me an email.
